Picky toddler? It’s incredible to me how so much can change in such a short time. My oldest (who is 2 now) used to eat everything. And I mean, EVERYTHING. Grilled chicken, baked salmon, pork chops, every vegetable, you name it. He loved it all. Now I’m lucky if I can get him to eat anything other than fruit snacks, yogurt, chicken nuggets, and macaroni and cheese. And he’s even refused the macaroni and cheese a few times.
Do you feel guilty when your kid doesn’t eat the way you know they should? Do you give in to their “hunger strikes” as well call them in this house? I know I do. Especially when my husband is traveling and it’s just me here, manning the kitchen against two children who seem to be allergic to anything nutritious like a fruit or vegetable. No such thing as man on man defense when my husband travels. It’s full on zone defense and I often lose. (Is it basketball season? Baseball season? Mommy time out season?!)
Luckily, I am able to feed them the best of some of the processed foods. Thank you Annie’s products. They are organic, made with wholesome ingredients, and I don’t feel THAT bad about the fact that my kids prefer to eat food from a box rather than the home cooked meals I still make in vain (and devour after they go to bed).
Annie’s foods can get pricey, especially when it’s a staple in your home. So here’s a few coupons to help you out.
