Need an extra $100? Who doesn’t right?

Hello hello! We are finally back from Disney World and let me tell you something.  We will NOT be returning any time soon.  The amount of $$ spent hardly justifies the brief excitement my oldest son got from riding the bus to Magic Kingdom and the monorail over to Epcot.

To begin, both kids slept through Magic Kingdom – the entire walk around.  Then, my oldest hated the lifesize characters.  I believe his exact words were “GO AWAY! MOMMY NOOO!” as he jumped frantically into my arms.  I mean, I guess it’s good that Disney World has completely revamped their character greetings since I was a kid – now you have to make a fastpass appointment to even have a hope of meeting all the characters and taking photos.  They no longer walk around the parks willing to pose or sign autographs.  On the off chance you’re able to schedule a character dinner, be advised that all characters do not show up.  It’s up to the restaurant (and I’m assuming, ultimately DISNEY) as to which characters will be dining with you (and terrifying your children).  But, I digress.

What I really want to talk to you about is the fact that we all find ourselves in need of more $$ from time to time (or all the time), am I right?  Well I just got an email from Ebates letting me know that my $100+ check i on the way.  Yup, just in the nick of time because Disney World wiped us out!

Want your’s?  It’s so easy.  And guys, listen, once you’re a member, you can earn on anyone you refer as well! Up to $25 for referral, just for sharing the greatness that IS Ebates!

Intrigued yet?  How about this for some excitement – right now Ebates is offering up to 15% off at various stores to celebrate their birthday!  Check out the stores here! We’re talking over 200 stores, including: Nike, Saks off 5th, GNC, Coach, HP, Petco, American Eagle, Tarte, Michael Kors, FTD Flowers, JC Penney, Melissa & Doug, 1800 contacts (where I just stocked up and got $77 cashback on my order!) and so many more!

Sign up here and start earning!

Don’t forget to check out TopCashBack as well.  They often have higher cashback values than Ebates, but their referral program is often a little less.  They pay up to $10 per referral, but still worth it for doing exactly what you would be doing anyway – sharing the love for savings!

Happy savings!

I'm an attorney licensed in New York and New Jersey. Growing up, I thought I would always be on the career path, maybe have a kid, but continue working until I reached the top. When I met my husband, my priorities shifted in a way I never thought possible. I moved away from NYC, starting working less, got married, got pregnant and had a baby. Then my husband's job relocated us across the country and guess what? We found out we were pregnant again. So, I'm a stay at home mom to two kids 12 months apart, and really learning how to stretch a buck. Come join me while I teach you some of my favorite savings tips and show you some great deals along the way!

  1. I love ebates. It’s nice to be able to shop, refer friends and make money although still being at home. However, it sounds like you had a blast at Disney. I cannot wait to go!

  2. Sorry you had such a bad time at Disney World. I can understand being wiped out. It’s so expensive. My sister has been trying to talk me into using Ebates and I guess now would be a good time to start.

  3. Wow, I cannot believe you can’t just get autographs from the characters at Disney anymore…That was my favorite memory from going to Disney as a kid.
I recently signed up for ebates…I haven’t used it yet but I need a new pair of shoes so maybe I’ll go check it out. Thanks for the tip with the other site too.
